Dermal fillers are a cosmetic injectable treatment used to add volume, soften fine lines and smooth out wrinkles. Juvederm is one of the most popular families of hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. They are an injectable gel made of hyaluronic acid (HA), and this is a preferred type of filler because HA is a naturally occurring substance in your body that naturally gives your face volume and hydration.

How is SKINVIVE different from the other Juvederm fillers?

SKINVIVE is a new, groundbreaking treatment that is also hyaluronic acid (HA) based, however it is slightly different from the other fillers because it is a non-volumizing injectable that smoothes and hydrates the skin from within. This skin booster injection is FDA-approved to increase hydration and to improve overall skin quality and texture.

SKINVIVE is a minimally invasive treatment with little to no downtime. It pairs well with other cosmetic treatments like Botox, lasers, other Juvederm dermal fillers, and more.

What areas can I treat with fillers?

Fillers can be used all over the face and body, and some of the most common areas include midface, cheeks, jawline, chin, lips, temples, hands and more! 

Am I a good candidate for fillers?

Most patients will be a candidate! Juvederm is best for people with mild to moderate facial folds, wrinkles, and fine lines. We have various products within the Juvederm family that can restore the volume and enhance the shape and structure in your lips, midface, cheeks, jawline, and more all to reverse the signs of facial aging.

What will my appointment be like?

Typically we can do an initial consultation and treatment in the same visit. We begin by cleansing and prepping for the treatment, followed by applying a topical numbing cream. Once the anesthetic is in effect, your provider will inject the filler into the determined treated areas. They will go over all aftercare instructions and what to expect over the next two weeks following treatment.
